Magda grew up in the small town of Zakopane in Southern Poland. As a child she learned a lot about the traditional Polish artisan culture and art. Later, she moved to Warsaw and continued following her passion in learning and exploring different mediums of art. Throughout her art journey she has explored and practiced countless varieties of art, including jewelry-making, oil, acrylic, and pastel painting. In her spare time she loves learning about the history of art and inspiration of famous Impressionist and other modern artists. She is our current in-house Small Bits of Happiness artist, card designer, and local artist.
Often, inspiration for my art comes to me at night in the form of dreams.
Do you have a favorite artist?
My favorite artists are Modigliani, Lempicka, and Picasso.
My daughter’s daily phone calls bring me a small bit of happiness everyday.
My favorite color is black, it is beautiful, elegant, and timeless.
I love eating potatoes. Roasted potatoes. Mashed potatoes with butter and cream. Potato pancakes. Really, any recipe including potatoes brings me happiness!
