Baking is a fun way to spend free time, make a tasty snack, and get a small bit of happiness. As teenagers, it can be hard to know what to bake, especially as many of us don’t have the time (or patience) for long baking days. Below we list our favorite easy, tasty, and time-efficient baking recipes. However, even though these recipes may be simple, they are far from boring and basic. On a side note, if you have extra treats, share with your family, bring some for your friends, or deliver to your neighbours, to give them a small bit of happiness too.
When baking worlds collide. This treat combines two of our favorite baked goods: cupcake and brownies. Enjoy a delicious chocolate cupcake, with chocolate kisses hidden inside.
An Italian classic, this Focaccia bread is easy to bake, and very enjoyable. Dip it into soup, olive oil, Italian hummus, or just plain. This bread is flavorful, versatile, and gives you a taste of Italy, from home.
Millionaire Pie combines a creamy and luscious filling with a medley of tropical fruits and crunchy pecans, all nestled in a buttery graham cracker crust. Plus, our recipe is quick and simple – and of course, delicious.
A classic, the bagel. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a snack. Not only are bagels delicious with simple toppings, like bread, jam, or cream cheese, but you can also dress them all the way up. Perhaps add smoked salmon, avocado, honey, or different types of cheese to elevate your bagel.
We hope that baking and eating these delicious baked goods gives you a small bit of happiness. Consider giving some to a family member, friend, or neighbour, and make their day.
