When we enjoy someone’s company, care about what they have to say, and feel comfortable around them, we make eye contact. However, pay attention to the duration of time that your friends are maintaining eye contact. If it lasts for over three seconds at a time, throughout your conversation, they are genuinely enjoying your company.
When you tell a joke, or something funny happens, do you and your friends both laugh? Pay attention to the next time something funny arises while you are together. Mutual laughing indicates that you have both connected on a topic, and are interested in the same things.
If your friend truly enjoys spending time with you, they will display signs of genuine happiness. What does this look like? Focus on their smile. A true smile reaches the corners of their eyes, and upper cheek muscles.
